1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of easysolitaire.net, the embedded web game, and the Easy Solitaire applications for iOS and Android (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you.
2. The Service
Easy Solitaire provides a single-player Klondike card game, including browser play, native mobile apps, local game History, Daily Challenges, Game Numbers, Position Codes, sharing tools, customization, statistics, solver-assisted features, and optional paid mobile membership features.
Features may differ by platform, device, game rules, region, app version, and membership plan. Web and desktop currently use the Free plan. Mobile purchases and local game progress do not currently carry over to web, desktop, or another device unless a feature expressly says otherwise.
3. Permission to use Easy Solitaire
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to use the Service for lawful, non-commercial entertainment. App-store terms may provide additional conditions and take priority where they are required to apply.
- Do not interfere with, overload, damage, or bypass security or access controls for the Service
- Do not use automation, scraping, or extraction in a way that harms the Service or other users
- Do not reverse engineer, copy, modify, redistribute, sell, or exploit the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it
- Do not use sharing features to distribute unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or malicious material
- Do not misrepresent an affiliation with Easy Solitaire or use our branding in a way that suggests endorsement
4. Your content and sharing
You keep any rights you have in photos or other content you select for local customization. You give the Service permission to process that content on your device only as needed to provide the feature you requested. You are responsible for having the right to use that content.
Game Numbers, Position Codes, shared links, and result cards are intended for sharing. Anyone with a shared Position Code or link may be able to reproduce the corresponding game state. You are responsible for what you choose to send and for the third-party service you use to send it.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Paid membership is offered through the native mobile apps. The price, billing period, trial or introductory terms, included benefits, and renewal details shown at purchase are part of your agreement. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple App Store or Google Play account before the renewal date.
Apple or Google processes payment, cancellation, and eligible refund requests under its store rules. RevenueCat helps us validate purchases and restore entitlements. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Mobile purchases do not currently unlock paid features on web or desktop.
We may change future prices or plan contents as permitted by law and applicable store rules. Changes do not remove benefits already owed for a paid period, and any required notice or consent will be provided through the relevant store or Service.
6. Solver and game-result limitations
Solver features are gameplay aids, not a guarantee that every deal or position is winnable or that every analysis will reach a conclusion. Especially complex positions may exceed the selected analysis time. Solver features currently apply only to supported rules and may be unavailable, limited, or inconclusive in other modes.
Hints, difficulty labels, scoring, statistics, winnable-deal searches, and automated moves are provided for entertainment. Results may differ from other Klondike implementations, and a legal or suggested move is not a promise of a win.
7. Local data and availability
Game progress and preferences are primarily stored locally. You are responsible for your device and backups. Clearing browser or app storage, uninstalling, resetting a device, or losing access to it may permanently erase local History and settings.
We may maintain, update, suspend, remove, or discontinue any part of the Service. We aim to provide a reliable experience but do not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent compatibility with every device or browser, or permanent availability of any specific deal, challenge, feature, or third-party service.
8. Intellectual property
The Service—including its software, solver integration, design, text, graphics, card art, audio, branding, and arrangement—is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
Third-party names, store badges, libraries, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. Open-source components are governed by their applicable licenses.
9. Third-party services
The Service may link to or rely on third-party services, including Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, Mixpanel, hosting providers, and your device’s sharing tools. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or independent practices. Your use of them is governed by their terms and policies.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded in your jurisdiction.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Easy Solitaire and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, revenue, profits, goodwill, or use arising from the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 25. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a violation of these Terms, security or legal risk, harmful conduct, or discontinuation of the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—will survive.
13. Governing principles and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the provider of the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence remain unaffected. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the concern informally.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post revised Terms here and update the effective date. If a material change requires notice or consent, we will use an appropriate method. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them to the extent permitted by law.
