1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Easy Solitaire ("Easy Solitaire," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use easysolitaire.net, the embedded web game, or the Easy Solitaire mobile applications for iOS and Android (together, the "Service").
We designed Easy Solitaire so that core game progress is stored locally. You do not need an Easy Solitaire account to play. Some optional or supporting functions—such as analytics, purchases, store links, and shared web links—use third-party services or an internet connection as described below.
2. Information stored locally
The Service stores game information on the device or in the browser where you play. This information is not a cloud backup and is not automatically synchronized between web, desktop, iOS, or Android.
- Current and unfinished games, undo history, completed-game History, Game Numbers, Position Codes, scores, times, moves, statistics, XP, and levels
- Game preferences such as rules, controls, sounds, animations, solver settings, reminders, card designs, and table appearance
- Photos you deliberately select for a custom background or card back; these remain in local app storage unless you separately share them using your device
- Locally scheduled Daily Challenge reminder settings and notification state
3. Website and hosting data
When you visit our website, our hosting and network providers may process standard request information needed to deliver and protect the Service. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, requested URL, referring page, timestamps, response status, and security or diagnostic information.
The web game may use browser storage, caches, service workers, and local databases so the game can load, save progress, and remember settings. These technologies are used for functionality and performance rather than cross-site advertising.
4. Product analytics
When analytics is enabled in a particular build, Easy Solitaire uses Mixpanel to understand feature use, diagnose problems, and improve the game. Analytics may include a pseudonymous installation or app-user identifier, app version, platform, locale, subscription status, entry points, game modes, feature interactions, performance or error context, and similar product events.
We do not ask Mixpanel to collect your name, email address, card contents, custom photos, or the full contents of a Position Code. Analytics identifiers are not intended to identify you directly, but providers may process device, network, and usage information under their own policies.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases and subscriptions in the native mobile apps are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and managed for us through RevenueCat. These services may process a pseudonymous app-user identifier, product and transaction identifiers, purchase receipts, subscription status, restore history, app version, platform, and device information.
We do not receive or store your complete payment-card details. Apple or Google processes payment and controls applicable billing records, refunds, and store-account information. Mobile purchases do not currently unlock paid features on web or desktop.
6. Sharing features
A Game Number identifies an initial deal. A Position Code is self-contained and can reproduce the exact state of a game in progress. If you share either one, anyone who receives it may be able to open or reproduce that game. Treat a Position Code like any other content you intentionally choose to share.
Result cards, links, Game Numbers, and Position Codes are shared through your device, browser, or another service you select. That external service handles the shared content under its own privacy terms. Easy Solitaire does not operate a public in-app social network or automatically publish your results.
7. How we use and disclose information
We use information to provide and secure the Service, preserve local gameplay, process purchases, restore entitlements, measure product use, diagnose errors, respond to support requests, comply with law, and protect users and the Service.
We disclose information only to service providers acting for these purposes, to app stores you choose to use, when you direct us to share it, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security. We do not sell your personal information for money.
8. Retention and deletion
Local game data remains on your device until you delete it through available controls, clear browser or app data, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling, clearing storage, or losing a device may permanently remove local History because Easy Solitaire does not currently provide cloud sync.
Third-party providers retain hosting, analytics, and purchase information according to their own policies and our service configuration. Purchase records may also be retained by app stores for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and transaction-history purposes.
9. Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, they and we rely on appropriate legal mechanisms for international data transfers.
10. Children’s privacy
Easy Solitaire is a general-audience card game and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child where parental consent is legally required. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
11. Your choices and rights
You can avoid creating a cloud account because none is required. You can manage local game data through the app, browser, device, or operating-system controls; manage notification permission in system settings; manage purchases and subscriptions through your app-store account; and choose whether to share a deal, position, result, or custom image.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability for personal information we control. Contact us to make a request. We may need enough information to verify and respond to it, and some records may be retained where law requires.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by another appropriate method.
